Everything is hectic with this COVID-19 going around and it's honestly pretty scary. People are dying, everyone is freaking out, the stores are empty, and the economy is crashing hard. It's a crazy time to be alive. This is going to change things. Things are gonna be different. This is HUGE.

Trying to look at the positive side in these types of situations is a daunting task. I honestly don't think there's much positivity to look at. I want to write a little post of just some random stuff going through my mind with all of this happening around me.

First I wanna say we need to think about the people who are high risk with this virus. stay home if you can, wash your hands, don't even go around the high risk because even if you don't feel sick you could still be carrying it around and a life is more important than your social life, okay? get it? good. now moving on:

I think it's very important for us to (obviously wash our hands a crap ton) and to clean things we normally don't think about cleaning. I am a bit of a germaphobe, so the idea of people not cleaning their doorhandles and light switches before any of this happened disturbs me. A lot of people don't even THINK about those things. door handles, the sides of doors (because those get touched a LOT believe me), the tops of soap/hand sanitizer dispensers, phones, wallets, pens, etc... These are things we should be thinking about. I personally prefer using natural cleaning products. I currently have a subscription with grove and I'm loving it. a lot of cleaners in the store are not only bad for you, but they're out of stock too so. I like vinegar a lot for cleaning it cleans more than bleach and is safe to breath, or get on you're skin so no worries there.

I know a lot of people are panicking buying a lot of things they don't need so lemme give you some tips: DO NOT buy items labeled for wic. the people relying on wic to feed their families can not substitute a different brand so if it runs out they can't get food. PLEASE be mindful when buying things. just get what you NEED.

I don't really know how I feel about all of this. All I know is I wish I had more customers (I'm a waitress btw). If you are going out and eating PLEASE go to a local restaurant. The small family owned businesses are what need your help right now. if Taco Bell doesn't get business they will be okay, trust me. BE thoughtful of your local places and help them out because this is really hurting them.

Now that my rant is over I'm just gonna say to pray, trust God has this under control, (I'm preaching to myself here) and be careful out there.

now go wash your hands
