5 Healthy Things To Do In The Morning For A Great Day

The mornings are really important. They're the start of every day. How you start your day matters because it effects the rest of your day. Your mood, the way you feel, the decisions you make during the day, everything. Here are 5 things I like to do in the morning to help me have a great day:


#1. Oil Pull: Oil pulling is one of the best things to do first thing in the morning because the oil (I like coconut) "pulls" bacteria from your mouth and you just spit all that nasty morning breath out in the trash, or out in the yard.


#2. Drinking Cold Water: Right after oil pulling I like to drink a cup of nice cold water. Not only is it great because you're dehydrated from the night, but the water being cold really wakes you up.


#3. Washing Your Face With Cold Water: Washing all the nasty dirt off of your face from the nights sleep is great for your skin and just like drinking a glass of cold water, washing your face with cold water just jumps you awake.

#4. Drinking Something Hot: I personally drink green tea every morning for the antioxidants, but I love drinking coffee, bone broth, or veggie stock in the mornings when they're available. It's just nice to get a kick of nutrients first thing in the morning.


#5. A HEALTHY Breakfast: Look, if you wanna have a good day don't stop at a drive thru and get a sausage, egg, and cheese mcmuffin (I had to look that one up. lol) for breakfast. Breakfast is SO important, your first meal of the day; eat something that will give you energy and nutrients so your day isn't crappy. I personally make better choices with what I eat for the rest of the day when I have a healthy breakfast. If I start my day out right I'm encouraged and motivated to keep the rest of my food choices good too.

Well, those are my tips for a healthy morning. I really notice a difference in my day when I start my mornings right. I hope you try some of these out if you haven't already, and let me know if these tips help.
