This summer was quite busy, yet also not busy.... I guess this summer was more busy with things like getting stuff that I've wanted to do for a while started. Instead of activities. But here are the highlights of my summer! (well, the ones I could think of).

#1. The first thing that was exciting about this summer was that I bought myself a Himalayan salt lamp! I love this thing so much. I've been wanting one for quite awhile and I finally bought one! I turn it on as soon as I get up in the morning and it's the last thing that I turn off before bed. It's so beautiful!

#2. Another awesome thing about this summer was a bird made a nest on my porch and laid some eggs! The little birdies were so cute, until one of our cats ate them. :( This is the best picture I have of the little baby birdies.

#3. Next on my list was mine and my sisters birthday! All we did was shot fireworks and had a bonfire with the family, but it was so much fun!

#4. Probably my favorite highlight of my summer highlights was actually making some friends! Although they're not irl friends they mean so much more to me than the irl friends I had previously. I love them so much!

#5. Vidcon! Although I didn't go to vidcon, I watched all the vlogs from my favorite youtubers and those vlogs make me so happy! They make me feel like I'm there with my friends and what could be better than that? Along with the vlogs I found more youtubers I really enjoy!

#6. Music. I've always loved music, but for a little over a year now I've been really into it! I've been working a lot more on my instruments (and a little on my voice, but that's not going anywhere) and I've been listening to music a heck of a lot more. This summer I found a few different people/bands that I'm loving (but that can be another blog post).

#7. The biggest thing that happened late this summer was my first actual vacation! (although most of the time was spent with relatives I don't know) I really enjoyed myself! The hotel was really nice and it was beautiful there! Oh, I haven't even said where I went, silly me. My family and I all went to Maine! Walked around Portland a bit, went to a weird crazy church the Sunday we were there, and got on a sail boat of the first time! This trip was the farthest I've ever been from home and also the longest I've ever been away from home. This is a picture from the sail boat. When we went, there were a few cruise ships that came in so Portland was crazy busy, but we managed to get through. Thankfully.

This picture is from a restaurant in a boat. I forgot the name of the restaurant, but it was really good! It was so cool to feel the boat moving with the waves. How neat is it for a restaurant to be a boat? I don't know, I thought that was so cool. The best thing from the restaurant was their bacon wrapped scallops... Oh, my gosh those were so amazing.

Another cool thing about Maine was that the trip there was my first plane ride! It wasn't as scary as I thought it was going to be, it was actually pretty cool!

By far my favorite thing in Maine was the lobster... Awwww the lobster was delicious! I especially enjoyed the lobster roll I had there.... Mmmmm.... I want one now.

The ocean in Maine was pretty. It was weird to see rocks on the beach though. I'd only ever been to Florida and Savannah beaches.

#8. The last thing I have on my list of summer highlights is starting my youtube channel! I've been wanting to start one for about a year, or two and I finally have one video up! My channel doesn't really have a theme, but I think it'll turn out. I don't have a plan. I'm just going to make a video about whatever I come up with, because if I stick to just one thing I won't be able to branch out and I want to allow myself to do that.

Well, That's it for this blog post! I hope you have a great day and I promise I'll get better at this!
